Help Me Attend Russ' Memorial in CA. 5.28

It was a Friday evening when my niece called to tell me that my brother Russ, a year younger than I, had passed away. He was battling stage 4 cancer, but his sudden and unanticipated death was due to a heart attack. I believe, since he grieved over his beloved wife who had died a year earlier, he died of a broken heart. He passed away at home that day in California, at the entrance to the living room from his bedroom, alone but I am sure he was content to be there. My other two brothers live in California, as do Russ' two wonderful daughters. I live in Hawai'i. For 70 years, we have been four. Now we are three.

I deeply yearn to attend his Memorial in California but I need your financial help. I need funding for a round-trip ticket and for living expenses. In the past, we have gathered together on the beach, in party settings, and around our old pool table. This time, it is grief that will bind us more deeply.
