Update on Mary
We want to share an important and difficult update about Mary.
Mary is being discharged from the rehab unit. While discharge often sounds like good news, in this case it is happening because her insurance will no longer cover continued rehabilitation — not because she has fully regained her strength.
In addition, Mary will be losing her medical insurance since she is not physically strong enough to return to work. She will now be relying on Medicare and Social Security as she focuses on comfort and quality of life in the months ahead.
As many of you know, Mary has always been the one caring for others. Now she is facing unimaginable physical and emotional challenges. Her husband is disabled and unable to provide the level of care she needs, and her son is young and still in college. The financial strain on their family is very real.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity already shown. Your donations, prayers, and messages have carried this family further than you know. Truly.
We understand that many have already given, and we never want anyone to feel pressured. At this stage, continued support — whether through sharing this page, keeping Mary in your prayers, or making an additional contribution if you feel able — would bring meaningful relief and help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for standing beside Mary with such compassion and love.
