[Update on My Healing Journey]

January 6, 2026:

Dear friends and supporters, thank you for your tremendous assistance so far.

I wanted to share an important update on my recovery. After further consultations, the doctors have decided to continue observation instead of immediately proceeding with a retina attachment surgery. However further surgeries are still on the horizon as, the lens in my injured right eye is dislodged, and I will need to have it re-implanted. Meanwhile, my left eye still struggles with keratoconus, impacting my vision.

Though retina surgery may not be required now, I’m still under close observation and planning further treatments. This includes a corneal graft for my left eye and re-implanting the lens in my right eye to restore clear vision.

I’m still unable to work and need your support as I navigate this healing journey. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me.

I’m Mario Allen, filmmaker and director of Lone Wolf Filmz, known for CAMPUS and various music video, commercials and documentaries. Before my boxing incident, I was already dealing with keratoconus, a condition that required surgery to correct my vision.

On December 1, 2025, a sparring incident led to a severe eye injury, and I had to undergo emergency corneal surgery as a result. Now, I urgently need a second, emergency surgery to reattach my retina and preserve my sight.

This is a critical situation. With mounting medical bills, ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, and loss of income, I urgently need your support to save my vision and continue creating.
