Help Me Study Abroad in Costa Rica!

Hi friends! As most of you know I am currently studying biochemistry, molecular biology, and Spanish at Bethel University. This January, I have the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica for an accelerated 3 week course called History of Healthcare in Underprivileged Coastal Countries.

This program will help prepare me for the extensive travel and limited resources I could encounter in my future as a US Naval surgeon and in Doctors Without Borders. Learning how history and culture shape healthcare in underserved communities while immersing myself in the language and culture is a big step in my career goals and will shape the surgeon I will become.
