Hi, my name is Claire and my friend and work-colleague Tracy, is currently battling breast cancer.

After finding a lump in her breast, and getting it checked with her GP, a biopsy found that the mass was cancerous.

Tracy was quickly referred to hospital for surgery, to remove the mass, and have a reduction on the other breast.

During the surgery, a number of lymph nodes were removed for further testing.

Sadly, the results have come back to say the cancer has also spread to the lymph nodes.

Tracy is currently waiting for radiotherapy, and then has to have a vigorous 9 months of chemotherapy.

Tracy is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has a huge supportive family, who think the world of her.

She is the most caring and optimistic person I know. She has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

I’d like to try and raise some money to help Tracy and her family. To help relieve pressure and worries, to put the money towards any bills and give them the odd treat over the next year or so.

Tracy is a lover of animals, especially her dogs.

She’s also an avid fan of country music, and enjoys going to gigs around the country.

Because of her upcoming treatment, she has had to cancel 2x family holidays.
