For those of you that know me well enough, you know I have an incredible amount of love for the outdoors and our Mother Nature... For the last few years I have been putting myself, by myself, through college at Montana State University. Every credit earned, I paid for, either from my own pocket or with student loans. My last semester MSU thought it wise to audit my financial aid standing, and they determined that I, Sierra Quinn, made too much money to qualify; this is with my total annual earnings of 2016 just under $11,000. Wow, right? That's way too much money. Anyway.... I worked my butt off filing an appeal, and after about of month of going to class, not sure if I was even allowed to be there or was going to get any credit, my appeal was approved.

Then the upcoming Fall semester, 2017, comes up... And the audit/appeal process begins again. After multiple e-mails and phone calls, it was decided that they would approve some of my aid, but alas, I am just under $2000 short. This is news I just learned, only days ago, and am therefore so unprepared for.

I wouldn't be asking for help if my end goal with college wasn't so damn important to me. I will be getting my degree in Fish and Wildlife: Ecology and Management. With my end goal being that one day I would like to give back to Mother Nature for all of the beauty she shows each one of us every day. I would like to help save a species, restore natural environments to their formal glory, and one day, soon, relocate to the Washington coast to attend Grad school and take this even further.

Please help me in making this goal, my dream, a reality.
