Help Maddie Battle Her Brain Tumor.

Maddie Jamison is a third grader at Vina High School. She’s a girl full of personality and sass. She never fails to put a smile on your face. Maddie went Thursday to Tupelo for an MRI. Afterwards, they were sent to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital where Maddie was admitted for a brain tumor. She has a grade 1 mass on the right side of her brain near the 4th ventricle with a lot of swelling. They are back home now, but she will be having surgery next week to remove the tumor. It's about the size of a ping pong ball. Her surgeon does think it will be a clean removal and hopefully no chemo or radiation will be needed. If all goes well, she will follow up with MRI scans every few months at St. Jude to monitor for any recurrence or growth. Maddie is a strong girl with a beautiful personality. She knows, to the best of her understanding, what is going on and seems to be dealing with it pretty well. I am asking for donations to help the Jamison family with any expenses incurred.
