Help Lisa ArmorUp & Beat Breast Cancer

My sister, Lisa, my SHEro—yes the one who saved my life during my battle with leukemia and then took care of me when I then faced breast cancer – – is now fighting for hers after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

But we need your help.

Lisa has a long road ahead that will take her into the holidays but she is going to ArmorUp and kick cancer's ass,

It’s what we do. It’s our M-O. She knows the drill. She knows the road ahead. She lived it with me. I have her DNA.

We are ONE!!

But I know firsthand after battling 2 cancers that you CANNOT do this alone and to be POSSIBLE and focus FULLY on the fight —you need to build your pit-crew, wave the flag and ask for help.

That’s not easy for most people, including my sister.

Now here’s our WHY…

Lisa is a Pre-K teacher for 3 year olds and will be missing a lot of work. She insists she’s going to try to work at least 2 days a week to keep her job but she will be immunocompromised.

Having been through chemo and radiation myself — I know she really needs to focus on this fight and not put herself at risk especially given her team’s plan:

20 weeks of chemo

4-6 weeks to recover her immune system

A double mastectomy

Recover from surgery #1

5 weeks of radiation

ANOTHER surgery (reconstruction)

Yes! That’s a lot. But Lisa is in great hands with a great medical team and all of us!

We are PREPARED – We PRESENTED well (fit) and we are positioned to PREVAIL!!!!

Against her wishes, I'm starting a GoFundMe, to help cover her added costs and lost wages from work that help pay bills and college expense so she can focus on the fight and not worry.

I need my sister. She saved me. I’m going to save her. It’s that simple.
