This LGBTQ+ youth group in Northeast Texas needs your help to continue creating a safe space, especially now. Help us provide hot meals, activities, crafts, transportation and emergency technology help to our teens!

Our youth group works like this: Inside our building are several rooms - one for crafting, one for watching television, one for snacks and fellowship, one for tabletop games. We also have a homework area, with computers and a printer, two college professors and two high-school teachers who donate their time to tutor. We have two licensed psychologists on speed-dial for mental health crises. We also maintain a trans-closet, where the teens can trade clothes with each other as they fight against gender dysphoria.

From the time they walk in the door to the time they leave, we respect their names and pronouns and protect their identities. They have a very active discord so they can keep in touch all week, but they also have two meetings a week.

When food insecurity strikes (which it often does) we buy groceries and cook meals to send home.

This is an expensive endeavor, and it is funded entirely through donations. It operates out of a church, but it is a secular, nonevangelical ministry.

All funds donated will go directly toward keeping this youth group alive and functioning. Community saves lives.
