On Sunday, February 6, Leon was found barely conscious on the floor of his home, having laid there unfound for several days after suffering an unknown medical incident. He was rushed to the Kelowna General Hospital, where he was cared for in the ICU by the incredible staff as they have tried to determine the cause for his mysterious collapse and tend to the multiple organs shut down and flush the poisons from his system through dialysis.

Leon's long-term prognosis is unknown at this time. His throat and tongue seem to be paralyzed, and he has very minimal use of his arms, and he is very sensitive to any touch.

We are fundraising right now to help him get a year's worth of rent together so that he can be housing secure as he recovers. He has a very understanding and safe house that is all one level and can be accessed and supported safely and the rent is incredibly reasonable for this market.
