Help Laura & Gabe's home be wheelchair-accessible

Hi, my name is Amy and I need your help on behalf of my friends Laura and Gabe. Gabe is a dialysis patient who recently shattered his leg and underwent two operations. He'll be using a wheelchair when he gets out of rehab, but their cozy Midwestern house isn't wheelchair-accessible. They need to build a ramp to the front door, widen the bedroom and bathroom doors, and add grab bars and other modifications. None of these things come cheaply, and they've been a one-income household due to Gabe's disability.

Laura and Gabe are smart, funny, and utterly smitten with each other. Laura is one of the finest humans I know—caring, generous, hard-working, and intensely devoted to her husband's health and happiness.
