Help Kurama Heal After Dog Attack

Hi, my name is Liliana, and I’m raising funds to help my family pay for our beloved cat Kurama’s emergency medical care after a heartbreaking incident.

On the evening of September 30th, our 10-year-old cat Kurama was attacked by two white pit bulls while she was peacefully resting under our truck in front of our home. The dogs were on leashes, but their owner couldn’t keep them under control, and they managed to reach her. My dad, who was outside at the time, heard the commotion and rushed to save Kurama — just in time to stop what could have been a tragedy.

She suffered serious injuries, leaving her blind in one eye and with partial vision in the other. Her leg was also badly hurt and required surgery. We were terrified we might lose her, but the vet assured us that with proper care, she could still live a happy and comfortable life — so we made the choice to go through with the surgeries and give her that chance.

We’ve had Kurama since she was a tiny kitten — over ten years — and she’s always been a loving, gentle, and playful part of our family. The thought of losing her was unbearable.

Unfortunately, the woman walking the dogs left the scene immediately without offering any help or information, so now we’re left covering all of the medical expenses on our own. The total cost for Kurama’s treatment and recovery is a little over $10,000, and we’re asking for $4,000 to help with close to half of that amount.
