Help Ken and Shari cover extra medical expenses

On August 31, 2021 Ken and Shari Waiting were involved in a motorcycle collision not far from home. They were both taken by ambulance to Foothills Hospital where Ken had 2 surgeries to repair his broken leg and Shari had multiple chest and back injuries. Thankfully they are both alive and home now!

Ken has been with EMS over 2 decades and a Supervisor in Central Zone for the last 10 years. Shari also works for AHS at Sundre hospital in food services.

Although insurance is covering many costs, there are a few things they desperately need that are not covered. They need to renovate their bathroom to have a walk in shower due to reduced mobility for the next few months. They also need an adjustable bed due to their injuries. Finally, some assistance with the cost of having help around the house while they are both unable to move easily would be a great help.

We know that these are costs that no one person can help with, so we hope by all coming together, we can help Ken and Shari through these next few months. Both the EMS community and the Biker community are known for looking after our own, let's prove that.
