Help Kelly get Lyme treatment
Donazione protetta
For those who know Kelly personally, we know what a bright light she is in all of our lives. For those that have known her the past couple years, we also know she struggles daily with the symptoms of Lymes disease. This creates havoc on her. Physically, it ranges from extreme fatigue and weakness where she can’t lift things, or walk for any extent of time. Luckily a lot of her physical symptoms have subsided, but she continues to struggle with the unseen side of this condition, the cognitive side. Every minute of every day she lives with extreme brain fog, forgetfulness, brain snaps, etc. It ranges from forgetting where the car is parked and how to get home to not knowing how to turn on a computer all of a sudden.
As we all know, Kelly is extremely brave and always walks in faith. I think it’s difficult for people to perceive how much this disease really dictates her life, because she is always wearing a smile and showing up and helping others. She has an overwhelming desire to effect change in the community and it would mean everything to her to be healthy enough to do it. She knows the calling of helping addicts live their best life, is a calling that she feels very heavily on her heart. She wants to be able to live her dream of helping other people, like she helps so many of us in this community.
There is now a treatment that is 92% effective where she can start feeling the relief of these physical and cognitive symptoms, in as little as 6 months. The treatment could take up to 1.5 years. She has put this off as an option for herself because she couldn’t commit financially. Having said that, I know her network knows her heart and her struggle and will do what they can to help support her in this journey to better health and live her dreams by giving back in a way that Kelly does so well. I ask that you please donate whatever you can. $5? Fantastic! If we all pull together, we have strength in numbers and can make this a reality.
Love and light,
Chrissy
