Kai is our long haired black cat, and my boyfriend and I adopted him as a kitten about eight years ago. He’s always been a timid little guy—my sweet scaredy cat. While he’s shy around adults and usually hides, he loves to play with kids and snuggle with me. Kai has brought so much joy and comfort to our home, and we can’t imagine life without him.

Recently, Kai developed a urinary block and needed immediate vet care. He had to be sedated so the blockage could be removed, and now he needs to be monitored and continually flushed to ensure his recovery. The vet bills have quickly added up, including surgery, lab fees, and the cost of his overnight stay at the hospital. The total is overwhelming, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure Kai gets the care he needs.
