Our dear friend Juan Galicia and his family have experienced an unimaginable loss. A devastating fire destroyed their home, leaving them with nothing. Juan, the owner of Galicia Construction, is a hardworking man, a devoted husband, father, and a preacher who has spent his life serving others and supporting his community. In a heartbreaking twist, at the very time the fire began, Juan was at church preaching a message of faith — reminding everyone that even in the worst of times, God will always remember you. When the service ended, Juan returned to the devastating news that his home and everything inside had been destroyed. Juan’s household includes his wife, his two boys, his sister-in-law, and his nephew. Their home, clothing, personal belongings, and everyday necessities were all lost in the fire. Even their two dogs were killed. Everything they worked so hard for is gone. The family had previously reported homeless individuals living in the neighboring property and raised concerns with the city, but unfortunately no action was taken. The fire is believed to have started there and quickly spread, leading to the destruction of Juan’s home. Right now, the family urgently needs support to begin rebuilding their lives. Donations will help provide clothing and basic necessities, temporary housing and living expenses, essential items for the children, help toward rebuilding their home, and support for the entire family as they recover from this tragedy.
