Rosemary is organizing this fundraiser for Josette Cedo, a dear friend since 10th grade in high school, who has been battling MS for over 30 years. After facing so much for so long, Josette is now dealing with even more serious health complications, including Mycosis Fungoides, a form of Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma, along with compromised liver and lung function. Because of these urgent medical concerns, Josette is traveling to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for evaluations and treatment, hoping to get the specialized care that is so needed right now. This is Josette’s fourth trip to Mayo Clinic, a reflection of how complex and ongoing this medical journey has been. Her next trip is planned for the third week of November.

While Josette focuses on appointments, testing, and treatment, the cost of being away from home adds another layer of stress. In the past, expenses have made it difficult to stay longer, even when more time was needed for answers and care. This fundraiser will help mainly with the practical expenses of hotel stays and food while Josette is at Mayo Clinic, so she is not forced to leave early because of costs. Josette is deeply determined to find answers for these medical conditions and, if possible, to contribute to medical studies that may help advance care for others. More than anything, Josette wants the chance to enjoy the remainder of life with friends and family, especially a beloved 1 1/2-year-old grandson. Rosemary is asking for support to help ease this burden so Josette can concentrate on health and healing during this incredibly difficult time.
