I’m Marc Richter, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend Jordan Silverman—a gentle, empathic, quietly generous soul who has spent years living under a cloud he did not deserve. In 2018–2019, Jordan was thrust into a nightmare of public accusations that upended his world. Law enforcement conducted an extensive, multi-agency investigation that did not lead to charges, and later child-welfare findings were reversed. Yet the damage—to Jordan’s livelihood, stability, reputation, and especially to his relationship with his children—has been profound. He has carried staggering legal costs, endured threats and harassment, and lost years of income and community safety. Through it all, the Jordan I know has remained tender-hearted, reflective, and committed to doing no harm. He is the friend who shows up—the one who listens, who tears up when a child is scolded too harshly across a café, who believes in kindness even when life is unkind to him.
