For Jerry Stringham, a family friend and member of my church in Boone NC. My hometown was just hit by Hurricane Helen and lost his woodcarving workshop in a flash flood, and unfortunately has no insurance. With a new fiancée and a wedding only a few months away, he has no source of income. The cherry on top: all of the appliances he purchased for his newlywed apartment washed away inside of his workshop and hadn’t even been opened. Despite searching for hours inside the flowing river, he found nothing. Any donations would be appreciated to help him start to rebuild his life before he begins a new chapter with his wife.
