Hi, I'm Jenna! I'm a student of Visual Arts and Animation, and I've been invited on the trip of a lifetime for the last Art History class of my degree. I've always dreamed of studying abroad, and this is my last chance before graduation.
If I can find a way to afford it, I'll get to see and learn about culture- and history-defining Italian artworks IN PERSON! My college has created a Study Abroad opportunity for Spring Break 2026, led by one of our most passionate art history professors. I have never been to Europe, and I'm itching to finally use my passport. I adore traveling, and I yearn to understand how the world works beyond the scope I'm used to in America.
The costs I have to cover include:
- Flights from America to Italy and back
- Food and shelter
- Insurance
- Daily excursions/transport
As you can imagine, that adds up quick. While I'm doing everything I can to apply for scholarships, there's no guarantee I'll receive one.
I strongly believe that a major part of education is hands-on. How better to learn from the past than to step into the room with it? If you feel it's important for college students like me to witness everything the world has to offer, please consider investing in this extraordinary educational experience!
(If for whatever reason the Study Abroad program is cancelled or I am otherwise rendered unable to participate, the funds will still go towards furthering my education.)
