Help Rebuild AMI Beach & Dog Supply Co. in Anna Maria

Dear Friends,

As you know, Anna Maria Island was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene, and 10 days later, by Hurricane Milton. While we narrowly avoided directly landfall from Milton, the compounded damage from both hurricanes was devastating for the island leaving 100% of the homes and business affected. Our store, AMI Beach & Dog Supply Co. was one of those businesses.

After Hurricane Helene, we spent countless hours cleaning up debris, salvaging what we could, assessing the damage, and scrambling to get repairs made. Unfortunately, only 8 days after we gained access to the island, we had to board everything back up and evacuate for Hurricane Milton. It was absolutely surreal.

We're beginning to recover from the double hurricane hit. We have our store cleaned, drywall replaced, floors finished, and the interior painted. Our tiny staff of 3, family, and friends have worked tirelessly to bring us back. Unfortunately, the loss of inventory, essential equipment and income since mid-September has left us drained.

We are reaching out for your support to help us rebuild, and support our island community. Contributions will go to supporting our incredible staff, replenishing lost inventory, and replacing freezers and other essential equipment. And unfortunately, it's going to take a while before we see our traffic return.
