Hi. My name is Krystal and I’m fundraising for the lady that first made me an Auntie many years ago. This lady has had a piece of my heart since the day she was born but she has hit some hard times.

Her name is Jazelle. She’s had a number of ups and downs in her life yet she perseveres. She is now a dedicated and amazing full-time mom to a smart adorable little boy but some things have recently resurfaced in her life that could take her away from her sweet toddler boy. She barely knows that young woman that got in trouble 10 years ago. She is one of the best Momma’s I’ve ever known and these two would be heartbroken to be separated even for a short bit.

When she was a little girl, she had a large goiter removed from her throat. Recently, a large growth has developed in her throat again. Something we were warned about when she was little. She has limited transportation and I was able to take her to her MRI during a recent visit. In testing and imaging, they did find something that now needs a biopsy. As you can imagine, this has been scary for her and even with some insurance coverage, expenses will come out of her pocket. We are all praying for a positive outcome and hoping this biopsy will give us good news.

Then, just as she was hit with the news that she needed to schedule a biopsy, she ran into some unexpected legal trouble from the past. Something resurfaced from some indiscretions and alcohol use in her youth that she thought was behind her and settled. Suddenly, her court date is Sept. 1 and she needs a good lawyer on her side. She has found a trusted lawyer but this lawyer cannot work for free. She doesn’t have the $2000 needed to pay this lawyer before the trial.
