Running for Freedom: Iva Skojo’s Marathon Mission in Tokyo

This Spring, Iva is flying to Tokyo is for a purpose greater than crossing the finish line: she’s taking on a mission to support the Kamonohashi Project, a non-profit seeking to eradicate human trafficking.

Founded in 2002, the Kamonohashi Project works tirelessly to protect vulnerable communities through specific, targeted projects and life-changing initiatives. From vocational training in Cambodia to law enforcement support, their impact is real - and Iva is determined to contribute. After numerous meetings in Davos for World Economic forum and her essays and studies at Columbia University on developmental economics it was an honor for Iva to say yes to join this project and do her second marathon - as international as Iva is this charity does not only cover Japan but more regions in South East Asia and cannot be a better introduction to herself and her Club Y community and future business and personal project in the region. 

Every step she takes in Tokyo is a step towards a world where no child is sold, no future is stolen, and no dream is out of reach and that has direct impact on policies and laws which were Iva’s core topics during her Masters’s in Global Studies at Columbia.
