Hello, my name is Hailey. I am raising money on behalf of my husband, Ibrahim.

He has recently been detained on what should have been a routine traffic stop. The police never even told us what he was being detained for until they put him in the police car. They also didn’t care when we showed proof of his court date AND told them he’s in asylum proceedings.

They called border control and they are holding him until ice comes and takes him to a detention center.

We need to secure a Michigan immigration attorney immediately.

Ibrahim is my support system, husband and best friend. I depend on him for everything. Without him I’m facing extreme emotional and financial stress trying to handle everything on my own. And I sadly don’t have the financial ability to tackle this on my own.

All the money will be going to lawyer fees, possible bond costs and living expenses.

This is the hardest thing we have ever went through, I’m not even able to see him and I don’t know when I will be able to. He is caring, funny and loves his family more than anything in the world.
