Life can change in an instant, and the loss of a child is something no parent should ever have to endure. On September 29, 2025, the Sandecki family faced the unimaginable loss of their daughter, Michele Nicole Sandecki, at just 43 years old.

Michele will be remembered for her kind spirit and the simple joys she found in life — riding her bike with music in her ears, growing green onions, and adding to her colorful Crocs collection. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

As you know, Debbie and Victor are both beloved members of the Pinckney community, known for their caring hearts and showing up for others — especially through their work at Pinckney school. Now, as they walk through this heartbreaking loss, we have the opportunity to come together and show up for them.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden of Michele’s memorial expenses. Our goal is $8,000, which will go directly toward covering these costs and giving Debbie and Victor the space to focus on healing and honoring their daughter’s life.
