Help Haithem Repair His Home And Earn A Living Again
Donation protected
Hi, friends! My name is Andrea from the US, and I'm helping fundraise for my friend Haithem Jouda, a 25-year-old volunteer nurse in central Gaza. Due to the brutality of the attacks on Palestine, Haithem has lost his home and 17 family members. Haithem helps others in need every single day at the hospital, then must go home to work even more. Haithem has pulled family and friends out of the rubble, healed people who were hit by shrapnel, and comforted displaced children with handmade origami.
Haithem's goals
Like many other families in Gaza, the Jouda family experienced the horrific destruction of their home one morning at 4:50am. While most of the Joudas were sleeping and Haithem's father was getting ready to go to the mosque, their neighbors' house was bombed, with 12 martyred in that family. Haithem's father was usually outside on his way to the mosque at 5am, and would have been martyred if the bomb had dropped ten minutes later. Haithem's first goal is to repair his family's home. He currently doesn't even have a bed to sleep on.
Haithem's primary source of income before October 7 was diving for sea creatures like fish and octopus and selling them. His equipment has been damaged and he needs to replace it in order to continue making money for his family. Food prices in Gaza are extremely high, and the canned food and water they have access to are barely edible. It's essential Haithem is able to feed his family again with the fish he catches and the money he makes from diving.

Haithem's words:
Hello, my name is Haithem. I belong to a family called Jouda. I am 25 years old. My hobby is diving in the sea. This was before the war. I am now a volunteer nurse at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip since October 7, which is the beginning of the war and the Zionist crime against us. Since its beginning, the reconnaissance planes have not calmed down. In the air and the sounds of explosions, the missile weighed a ton of explosives. One day a missile descended on our family’s house. We lost many loved ones and friends, and 17 people from my family were martyrs, most of whom were children and women. Our house was subjected to a lot of damage and partial demolition, and I want your help in collecting the amount to repair my house and valuables. What I lost must be compensated. Thank you all, my friends. I hope that life will return to before October 7. We are suffering from everything now. Thank you, my beloved ones.
