Help Gianna finish her Senior year
Hello, my name is Gianna Pellicani and I am a rising senior at the Boston conservatory at Berklee for Musical Theatre. I am in need of support for I have just found out that I will not be able to attend school due to an outstanding balance.
As many of you know, I’ve been performing my whole life. I’ve been blessed with being accepted and spending three years in Boston following my dreams. Due to CoVid, I took a gap year, needing to care for my mental health and help my family with financial circumstances. Because of this, my loans were activated and I had to pay a large sum of money during the year and wasn’t able to save in the way I wished for. With that, my father (as many friends and family know) had severe heart issues and a brain surgery, and was in and out of the hospital during this time. Due to this, my loan for this year was rejected because of the large sum of medical bills my family has to pay off. I’ve had to completely support myself financially for the past few years and it hasn’t been easy. I just signed a lease in Boston before I found out about the outstanding balance. With that, I have to sell my car in order to aid myself in paying for the rent. This situation hasn’t been easy on me and it’s been hard to accept that I have had to come to this.
I never thought that I would be sitting here today asking for money from my community but this has become my last resort. Boston Conservatory at Berklee has become my life and home these past 3 years. I was filled with so much excitement, passion and drive to come back in the fall to finally finish my senior year and get my degree. Any donation I receive, I will be incredibly grateful for. Even just to hit the half way mark of the payment would help me immensely. Thank you so much for your time, I really appreciate any support.
Love,
Gianna Pellicani
