My name is Sherin, and I am a Palestinian-American pharmacist living in Tennessee. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep plea for support. As many of you know, the devastation in Gaza has been nothing short of unimaginable. My family has faced unspeakable horrors, but despite losing everything, they are determined to rebuild their lives.

My two uncles, both fathers of young children, have lived through hell. They’ve been forced to flee their homes multiple times, desperately seeking shelter from the endless bombardment that has left their businesses and homes destroyed. They’ve endured the past 15 and a half months without basic necessities—food, water, electricity—and they’ve been left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. For them, this is not just a war—it’s a fight for survival.

One uncle was a pharmacist, and the other owned a successful shoe store. Both men built their businesses from the ground up, and both have watched everything they worked for crumble. Now, they are preparing to return to their lives in North Gaza—rebuilding not just their homes, but their entire lives, in a place that has been reduced to rubble.

Their journey ahead is not an easy one. They have no income, no savings, and no resources to help them rebuild what they’ve lost. That’s where you come in. I am asking for your support to help raise the funds they desperately need to start over. Your generosity will allow them to rebuild their homes, restock their businesses, and create a life of hope and stability for their children—something so many of us take for granted.
