On the night of March 22nd at 10:45 pm, a fire broke out in the kitchen of Gabriel and Karina's home at 50 Hayward Street in Hopkinton. In less than 10 minutes, their entire home was engulfed in flames. Thankfully, Karina, Gabriel, and their dog, Thor, were able to escape safely, but the fire left their home a total loss. Everything they owned—clothing, furniture, cherished keepsakes—was destroyed in the blaze.
Karina works hard cleaning houses for a living, and Gabriel is currently searching for work as a mechanic. Both are incredibly lovely people who have always opened their hearts and home to help family members and neighbors in need. Now, in their darkest hour, they need our support more than ever.
The funds raised will help Gabriel and Karina secure temporary housing, replace essential items like clothing, toiletries, and food, and provide comfort items for themselves and Thor, who also lost his bed, toys, and other essentials. Please consider helping them get back on their feet. Any support from the Hopkinton community and beyond will make a world of difference as they begin to rebuild their lives.
