Hi, I’m Jahziah Carter. The woman in the photo is my mom, Marcia Carter, and she is currently in the hospital after having two seizures on August 16.

After being laid off in April, my mom has been on a job search to get income for our family as she is the only one able to work. She’s the strongest person I know; she’s been trying to handle everything herself without worrying the rest of us, and now I want to help her. On August 18, she was diagnosed with leukemia and doctors said she needed chemo right away. With a limited source of income, my family needs the money to pay for her chemo because we just don’t have it. My family would be so grateful if someone helped us help our mom from the stress of this financial burden.
