Help Ft Myers Beach single Mom after Hurricane Ian
Donazione protetta
Hi Everyone, this fund is to help my son-in-law's mother, Eva Spychalski.
We are so grateful that Eva evacuated safely from Fort Myers Beach but are heartbroken to learn that her home and contents were washed away by Hurricane Ian, leaving just the skeletal remains of her house. Her car was flooded and is a total loss. The hurricane decimated her beautiful community when the 15-foot storm surge hit the island. The aftermath is devastating, and her home will need to be rebuilt entirely.
Eva lives and works in Fort Myers Beach. Her neighbors and town mean the world to her. After losing her husband to cancer in 2017, Eva and her 3 children made a home in Fort Myers Beach. This move was extremely hard for her, and Fort Myers Beach is where she truly started feeling happy again after such a tough loss. Her resilience and ability to find beauty and joy in life touched me.
Eva always helps others, and I know she would be the last person to ask for help, but I know she needs it right now. She will be without a home for a long time as she tries to rebuild. It is tough to see her endure another loss.
Many have reached out asking how they can help, which is why I started this fund. Any donation, big or small, or sharing this with others is greatly appreciated. I want to help Eva during this difficult and emotional time. All funds will go directly to rebuilding her home, replacing her belongings and other expenses she'll incur while she is without a home and car.
Thank you so much for your support!
