Help for family in Kansas City.

I am posting this message with a very heavy heart. My sister Dr Shajadi Patan is an oncologist in Kansas City, MO. She is married with 2 young girls who are 6 and 4 yrs old. Born in a working class family from a small town back home in India, against all odds she worked hard all her life to get into medical school, come here to USA and get 3 board certificates. She was awarded best medical oncologist in Kansas City last year. This story may resonate with lot of immigrant professionals from Asian subcontinent. When she thought she was just settling down to start a life in USA fate has been very cruel to her, at a very young age of 37 she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Now she is fighting to save her own life. She has been given hope to fight it and God willing she will fight it. We are very grateful for all the support her friends, work colleagues and employer has been providing her from her days she started her life here in USA.

Unfortunately, the journey ahead is filled with uncertainties. We are appealing for support from the community to help the family keep sustained during this difficult period ahead, the funds will help family navigate through the complex immigration processes and help her navigate through treatment processes. We are also appealing for any help for having her green card processing expedited if possible please.
