Help for Chris and Ruby White

Recently our sister-in-law, Ruby, had been dealing with severe abdominal pain. Initially, it was thought to be gallstones. Unfortunately, after further investigation, it was determined to be renal cell carcinoma. It looks like it has spread to her lungs and liver. She had a lung biopsy last week and results are pending. They are still in the planning stages, and treatment is to be determined in the next week. Our brother, Chris, recently got a job and opted out of the health insurance benefits because of the high cost, which would make it nearly impossible to make ends meet. After getting this devastating news, they are having to cover all medical expenses out of pocket. They are currently applying for some state medical benefits. But, we have no idea if they will get very much monetary assistance. Since being diagnosed, Ruby has had to resign from her job. Chris is left taking care of their 2 daughters, working full time, and will have to drive her to and from treatments. As many of you know, cancer treatment is a long and extremely expensive road. If you could find it in your hearts to donate, any amount would be much appreciated. The money raised will go to the hospital bills, treatment costs, and travel expenses to and from treatments. Update: 2/27- Ruby saw an oncologist and they were surprised with how aggressive the cancer is. They concluded she has stage 4 renal cell carcinoma, and are going to start her on both oral and injectable immunotherapy.
