Help for baby Victor and family

My name is Joe, proud grandfather (or "Grumpa," as I prefer) of Viktor, a beautiful infant born 15 weeks prematurely.

On May 2nd, my daughter went into labor at 24 weeks' gestation. She was admitted to Royal Inland Hospital, where attempts were made to halt labor; however, Victor's arrival was imminent. After he entered the birth canal backward, an emergency C-section was performed, resulting in his premature birth. Baby Victor was then flown to Vancouver Island, where he will require a minimum 15-week NICU stay.

We are seeking financial assistance to support his parents during this critical period while they remain out of town with him.

UPDATE: Little Viktor has transitioned to assisted ventilation and is now tolerating 9 ml feedings. His mother has begun holding him; while his condition remains precarious, his progress is encouraging.
