My nephew, Andrew Capen, has been sick with Covid-19 since July when he went to work in Corpus Christi, TX.  In August, he was transferred to Brooke Army MC in San Antonio and placed on ECMO and a ventilator.  
In September, he was finally allowed visitors...1 visitor a day for only 2 hours.  His mother (My sister, Brenda Capen) has been in San Antonio since the first day she was allowed and has been paying for a motel that she cannot afford.  She lives in Colorado and still has her expenses at home also.
Now, the doctors are saying Andrew's only hope of survival is a double lung transplant.  
If Andrew gets his miracle lung transplant, he will need to stay in the town where he has the surgery for at least a year.  Brenda will need ongoing help.
