"I am Farah Khaled Faisal, 17 years old. I could not complete my studies and was encouraged to study pharmacy. I live in a house with my mother and six orphan brothers and sisters. We have no source of income. We depend only on our income. Our income comes from the aid that reaches my orphan brothers’ children. We live in the northern Gaza Strip and we are still there. We did not go to the southern sector. We lived inside our house in Shuja’iyya. They were very difficult days. We did not sleep except in the basement of the building. We were more than 40 people. We suffered from the belts of fire and shrapnel that entered our house. We lost many of my relatives and neighbors. Then I was displaced to my relatives’ house after our house was completely bombed. Our numbers increased and the suffering of food, water and electricity increased greatly. We suffered very bitter days with food until we were forced to use animal food to eat so that we would not lose ourselves.We were displaced from my aunt’s house again and sat on the ground among the rubble of a destroyed house that did not provide us with any of the necessities of life until we were forced to flee from it again. Our displacement journey is still ongoing and we are suffering. There is a shortage of bedding, clothes, and necessities of life, and the suffering of high prices, and the suffering of not having enough food, and the continuous bombing that attacks us every night. Help us start a new life outside Gaza. My sisters and I are orphans. Help my mother, whose tears have not dried from grief over us. Please help us."
