Hello everyone. This gofundme campaign was created as we lost our house due to a fire on December 12, 2019 at 1am.


We were awoken by the smell of a burning paper at 1am. To our surprise the house was on fire. We jumped out of the porch right away. Our first thought was our 79 year-old mother who was left inside. Rommel broke her bedroom window and pulled her out. We were helpless and devastated for we were not able to save any valuables such as mother's diabetic medicines, clothes, wallets, documents, laptops, passports, jewelries, car keys,  etc. as the whole house was engulfed with fire in less than 15 minutes. It was heartbreaking for us to watch our house burning which we built together from the ground up. To make matters worst the house was also uninsured, as such we have lost everything.

The immediate funds will be used to pay for my mother's diabetic medicine and supplies as the insurance company does not cover refills/replacements for recently filled medicine. 

We are appealing to your generous heart to help us start rebuilding our home. As individuals, we feel happy in receiving gifts. However, that happiness of receiving is short-lived. Our lives are richer and more fulfilled when we share, and that great inner joy comes from helping others to better their lives. Joyful giving fills your life and nourishes your soul.
