My name is Eric, and for the past year, my dog and I have been living on the streets. It’s been a daily struggle to find safety and warmth, especially with the temperatures dropping below freezing. I care deeply for my dog, and finding work has been nearly impossible because I have nowhere safe for my companion to stay while I try to get back on my feet. Recently, I managed to rent a U-Haul truck to give us shelter, but now the truck is being taken back, and tomorrow we’ll be homeless again.

I’m a capable person with a lot to offer, but starting over from zero with a dog by my side is incredibly hard. My goal is to buy a small box truck so I can work and have a safe place for my dog while I earn enough to eventually secure permanent housing. This would give us both stability and a chance to rebuild our lives.
