Howdy! My name is Ian Murray, and I'm making a Go Fund Me on behalf of my friend and loved one Eli Blodgett (@Eli.4.the.world on most platforms).

Eli, a transmasc member of the Tacoma community needs our support. After a difficult job hunt and extenuating circumstances, they are facing housing insecurity. Without the support of family Eli has built a home for himself and his two cats, Persephone and Aphordite.

Eli has been actively searching for a new role for over a year, and like many other people currently searching for work has not been able to find a role. Now that Eli has officially been laid off and denied unemployment benefits, he is having to navigate potentially living on the street.

I want to help Eli avoid this. With that in mind I am asking people to share this GFM and contribute if possible. Any amount helps, and goes a long way to help ensure Eli is supported and given the security he needs to secure a new role.

Eli has been a loved member of the Tacoma community and many Queer and Trans online spaces for years. I’m calling on folks to give him a bit of support and care in a time of darkness and urgent need.

We are setting the goal at $4000 so that Eli can have rent covered through the fall and hopefully give him the security he needs to find a new full-time role.
