My Story

My name is Edward, and I never imagined my life would take the turn it has. A few years ago, during what should have been a routine procedure, I was tragically dropped in the operating room. That accident broke my neck from C3 to C7, leaving me with devastating injuries that required 20 screws, 2 rods, and a steel plate to hold my spine together.

Since that day, I have endured 43 surgeries in an effort to rebuild my body and regain some quality of life. The physical pain has been overwhelming, but the emotional and financial toll has been just as heavy. I lost my career, my independence, and even my new car.

Despite fighting every day to recover, I am now struggling just to keep groceries on the table. My medical bills continue to pile up, and my home—my safe place—desperately needs a new roof that I cannot afford. Every day feels like a battle, and I am reaching out because I cannot fight this alone anymore.
