Dr. Idris, an alumnus of the College of Medicine, Ibadan, Nigeria is a brilliant & passionate young ophthalmologist who has dedicated his life to giving sight back to thousands of people in need.

Tragically, he developed concerning symptoms in his own eyes, and now faces a life-altering diagnosis: a very rare, deadly eye cancer that threatens not only his own vision but his very life - malignant melanoma of the lacrimal gland.

He has undergone one surgery and has received 3 doses of immunotherapy so far, costing over 13 million naira, yet disease is rapidly progressing & he needs urgent specialized treatment overseas- further surgery, immunotherapy & radiotherapy. This comes at an overwhelming cost - $150,000, an unimaginable amount, far beyond his reach in a developing country.
