Domingos’ funeral expenses️❤️️

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the passing of our Dad, Domingos Barroso, on the evening of 29th April 2023. He fought his battle to the last second and we watched him fade away, but we know he is no longer in pain and is watching down on us.

Now we are left with the difficult task of organising his burial, ensuring we honor and celebrate his life. He was loved by many and often described as ‘having a heart of gold’. His passing has shocked many people. God has proven to us that he only takes the best️️️️.

Hello everyone,

We have set up this page to help enable our Dad, Domingos, to access the medical treatment he so desperately needs to fight his battle against Stage 4 (metastatic) bile duct cancer.

After feeling unwell for several weeks, consistent attempts of seeking help from his GP and constantly being told that there was no appointments available, our dad became unwell too the point that he couldn’t get out of bed. My brother decided enough was enough and he took him to A&E where he undertook several weeks of tests after tests. He later got diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer.

Having been a single dad to 3 since 2016, with an autistic dependent son, it has become our mission to seek the help he needs. Everyone that knows him knows that he always puts everyone else’s needs before his own. But now it is time for us to unite and stand up for him during this difficult time.

He has now been under the care of The Royal Marsden Hospital for almost 2 months, where there are no current plans for future treatment plans to help him. Without further treatments, UK doctors have given him less than 12 months to live.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and enable us to seek alternative treatments that are not available within the UK.
