Help Dimitri Support the Valencia DANA Flood Victims
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Dimitri Apostolakos, and I’m a 10-year-old soccer player from Adelaide, South Australia, and I am raising money to help the victims of the devastating floods in Valencia.
I love football (soccer) more than anything, and I’ve been working hard to follow my dream of becoming the best player I can be. In April 2025, I will be traveling to Valencia to train alongside the Valencia CF Academy in Spain. I couldn’t be more excited as it’s a dream come true for me to visit a community that has shown so much passion for the game I love.
With plans for this trip in place, the recent flooding in the city of Valencia has deeply affected me. The city has been devastated, and many families have been left without homes, food, and basic necessities. When I saw the heartbreaking images of the destruction, it made me realize how fortunate I am to have everything I need—food, water, shelter, and the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I felt I had to do something to help.
I’ve decided to raise money to support the families who’ve been affected by the flood. Every little bit counts, and together, I believe we can help these families get their lives back on track.
How Your Donation Will Help
Your contribution will go directly to the people of Valencia who need urgent help. Funds will be used for:
Emergency Relief – Providing food, water, clothing, and hygiene items.
Why This Is So Important to Me
This is personal. Valencia is the home of my dream soccer academy, and I can’t wait to be a part of the football culture there. I want to do my part to make a difference and show my support for the people of Valencia.
How You Can Help
Please consider donating to this important cause. Every little bit helps.
My family will be personally donating $100 for every goal I score in the Independent Football Australia Tournament I am participating in between now and the 30th November. I will also be raising money by selling baked goods and football products. It is my goal to be raise any funds I can.
These funds will go directly to the Banco De Alimentos De Valencia who are the Food Bank organisation in charge of directly distributing the food and hygiene products to the DANA Flood victims. They are also affiliated with the Valencia CF Football Club who are also heavily involved with assisting in the recovery of Valencia Town.
Please join me in helping the victims of the Valencia floods. Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for your generosity and support!
Warmest regards,
Dimitri Apostolakos
