My name is Okailey and I'm raising funds for my dog Deuces' surgery and treatment. Deuces is a 12-year-old papillon mix with a huge heart and bubbly personality that everyone falls in love with. Due to him having luxating kneecaps, over time, he has overcompensated for the discomfort and now his hips are failing him. This has caused him to limp badly and is unable to walk or run around like he used to. He still has the heart of a puppy and loves being outdoors, exploring and meeting new people and animals, but he may not recover well if he doesn't get the necessary surgery to correct the issue. He has been with me through so many life changes and has been the light of my life. I just want to make sure I can do all I can to ensure he has a fulfilling experience in his older years so he can still move about without being in extreme pain. I lost my job in June of 2022 due to COVID and haven't been able to keep up with his treatments. I rescued him in 2010 and ever since he's made me feel like the lucky one.
