Help Destiny Reconnect with Her Roots

Hi friends & family,

I will be traveling to my birth country, Kazakhstan, in July 2025. It’s a lot of money to afford a trip like this, and I can’t afford to do it alone. I have wanted to do this for as long as I can remember to reconnect to my roots and culture, but it never felt financially feasible—and now it’s happening! The Ties Program coordinates the trip, which will help me navigate Kazakhstan and to my providence city of Taraz, as well as any support I may need as an adoptee, and provides guides and translators. It is more expensive to go through the journey on this route, but the community of other Kazakh adoptees is driving me to pay the extra money. I will have to pay for flights separately from the trip cost around November or December, so any little bit helps!
