Help Delma on her journey to recovery

It has taken us a long time to come to the decision to finally write this and ask for help for our Mum. With the year it has been for everyone, we feel a lot of guilt even considering the thought of reaching out to others for help, especially financial support.

For those who are reading we really appreciate it.

On July 4, our rock had another stroke this time effecting her cognitive and comprehension. This has now left her unable to drive, work and live independently. Mum attends weekly rehab sessions to assist with returning back to work and hopefully driving!

The 3 of us have been trying to financially support her as much as we can, but last night an incident occurred where extreme damage has left mums car in a state where it has to be written off.

Mum is currently not insured as she has been unable to drive since July 2021.

We are seeking support in any way possible to help Mum cover the costs for her car. Mum has given so much to not only her friends and family, but to her community. Mum is the strongest, most resilient person we know and we know she doesn’t take hand outs lightly, she is very stubborn but full of love.

Any help would be much appreciated.
