Help Deanna and her children recover from DV

Hey everyone!

My very good friend (whom many of you know) Deanna Howell is in a situation she never thought she would be in and needs our help. She has very recently gotten out of a DV situation and currently has a DVPO for her kids and herself since April. She is simultaneously attempting to secure custody of her three children and keep herself and the kids safe through the courts.

She has found a wonderful lawyer to help her but unfortunately good lawyers are not free (or cheap!). She has been a Stay at Home Mom for the last 3 years and she has been put in a situation where she was left with no income, 3 kids (2 of which are 3 years old or under) and no way to work while watching the kids that are too young for public school. She has applied for and received the benefits the government is able to give her but that only covers the majority of food costs, and doesn't even cover things like diapers!

While Deanna is currently looking for a Work from Home Job and has been pet-sitting and house-sitting in our neighborhood she needs help paying for therapy for the children, THOUSANDS of dollars worth of lawyer fees, toiletries, and other basic necessities.

We all fall on times that we never expected to have to go through and I hope we can come together to support this wonderful human who volunteers her time and energy for the community all the time!
