Hi my name is Dale and I am 14 years old. I'm trying to earn money for a trip to Europe next summer because my band teacher nominated me for the Utah Ambassadors of Music program. I play the trombone in Jazz band and Symphonic band. I'm also taking piano lessons, I sing tenor in Madrigals Choir, and I love trying all sorts of new musical instruments. For fun I play the Kashaka shakers and kalimba. It's safe to say I'm obsessed with music and I really want to go on this trip.

I've been trying to earn money by mowing lawns all summer as well as weeding and babysitting for my mom. We've had a drought year so the lawns haven't been growing and I haven't been able to earn as much money as I need. My mom told me if I could earn enough money for the down payment ($1000) she would help me fund raise to earn the remaining $8500. I hit my goal! So now I'm asking you for help in earning the rest of the funds for my trip.

I am still mowing lawns until the end of the season and have plans to hold a bake sale and make bracelets to sell during the winter. I'm hoping you will donate because I don't think I can make enough brownies and bracelets to make up the total amount! I would really appreciate any amount you would be willing to give.
