Over the past year, the rising cost of living has created ongoing financial challenges for my household. Everyday essentials such as groceries, medical expenses, and insurance premiums have increased significantly, while insurance coverage has continued to decrease. As a single-income home, these changes have made it harder to keep up with basic needs despite careful budgeting and planning.

In addition to these rising expenses, I have faced significant medical challenges. In May, I underwent a partial thyroid removal due to thyroid cancer. While I am grateful to be in recovery, the procedure and follow-up care have added to ongoing medical bills and related expenses. Alongside this, I am still recovering from a financial loss caused by a scam last year, totaling approximately $4,000. I am incredibly thankful to the family and friends whose generous donations helped me recover part of those funds, easing the immediate burden.
