Friends and family, this post is almost impossible to make.

It is with a heavy heart that I type this. Robert was notified last night (11/21/2025) that his father, Myron Percy Kent, was found deceased in his home by law enforcement.

This was extremely unexpected as we had just heard from him less than a week ago and he was recovering well from a simple knee surgery. He had been discharged from rehab and was back home and even running a few errands. Unfortunately, it appears he became ill on Wednesday and chose to brave the illness at home instead of going to a doctor. Horrifically, the illness overcame him in a matter of 48 hours.

At this time we are in shock as this was obviously not expected or even something we would have considered we may need to deal with any time soon.

As this was so sudden, we are not financially prepared for the burden this has added to our plates. Robert is still recovering from his accident that left him unable to walk, and I am working as much as I can to support us and our child, a barely making ends meet.

My FIL’s estate is in shambles and we have no money at all to take the necessary next steps in a parent dying. Anything helps.
